Don't worry about it..
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Random @ Aug 12 2005, 07:21 PM)</div><div class='quotemain'>Will cruise still maintain speed if you turn OD on/off? If so, I you might not need to bridge those wires.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (zoned019 @ Aug 13 2005, 04:32 AM)</div><div class='quotemain'>ok, overdrive is completely unrelated to the cruise system.
in the auto tib ..
cruise is set with o/d on, works fine.
cruise is set with o/d off, works fine.
cruise is set with o/d on, then o/d is toggled off and it still continues to cruise.

OK, I get that about the OD but I was just trying to clarify just in case because I'm seeing wires 1 & 2 where Random is talking about 4 & 5. Now I know he knows a lot more than I do about schematics but clarification is all I'm looking for here. I was just in there looking at my clutch switches. The switch you are talking about, Zoned, that is on the front of the clutch that you say is not being touched by your clutch is always pushed in on mine when not on the clutch (understand that??). I think that is the plug that needs to be wired to the ECU #14 wire because as soon as I push the clutch it opens the circuit which would turn off the cruise. What I'm having trouble with now though is both wires have continuity when pushing in the clutch and no continuity when not so I don't know which one to use.
Why your clutch is not even close to that switch I don't know. That's weird.

I knew that had to be the problem ...
ok, so it functions just as it looks like it should?
when clutch IS depressed, button is NOT pushed in
when clutch is NOT depressed, button IS pushed in
correct?
I suppose this is the cruise switch, as it works opposite of the other switch which is the ignition switch.
Mine must have gotten bent or something, I dunno.
I will give this a shot tomorrow.
