Need help from the Engine gurus
Yup my boss's car is an S15 with the RB26DETT swapped in.
It's fun to drive actually, except that you must be VERY careful with the acclerator.
How he drives it,only on the racetrack. It's his weekend racecar. He has no problem handling it on the street,he was driving for Ford back in the day of it's GT programme. On weekdays I get to take it home for wax and polish, curising around and grocery runs.

Man all this turbo stuff. Why not just get the internals fron a turbo setup or Ross pistons ($600-900) Crower rods ($600-800), ferra valves ($720), , walbro fuel pump ($200), stage 3 clutch masters clutch ($300 + $500 for install), , maybe a phantom grip differential, intake ($200-400), SR header ($400-800), Kore Cat-back ($400), Randon tech high flow cat ($160), Any muffler ($100-300), figure on about $100-200 for exhaust work and re welding, ECU SMT-5 piggy back ($200-600), and an NX dirct port nitrous setup ($900-1200 + $100 install), NX Nitrous progressive controller ($500-600), ECU SMT-5 piggy back ($200-600). This will put you at assuming doing a nitrous launch somwhere around what like 400 whp. And figure on about $1500-2000 on engine rebuild. Dont forget the head gasket's (not sure on price over at kore), rings (not sure on price over at kore.) And having someone dyno tune it for you. ($200-800)
$5000-$7000 in engine parts etc... and around $3000 for labor. so that puts him around $8000-10,000 for a 400 whp very streetable engine. AN that not always at 400 whp. 200 whp tops for daily driving. ANd nitrous as a back up. No turbo so if someone looks under the hood if the nitrous install is done stealth there is only basic bolt ons to look at. THis setup with drag radials should be good for at least a 12-low 13sec car.
Enough to beat most basic modified mustang GT's, camaro's etc.....
