either way you look at it it's going to cost you guys some cash to get your fuel systems up to par for this task of the turbo!
1. a 5th injector set up with a injector controler

2. the return fuel system from a tibby, elantra!

3. bigger injectors and maybe an SAFC to control the fuel doun low so you don't flood out!

4. or a stand alone fuel system like the haltec!

like I said any of these set ups are going to cost you some smack to get the right fuel you need!!!!

ps check out my first kill in the general off topic forum!

5th injector blows, imo. And so will the amount of effort one will have to put into the return fuel system (which I would scrounge from a LC with the 1.5L wink ) to get it running right. I'm thinkin about the piggyback sold by perfect power, it seems nice. The best bang for the buck would be a standalone, but for the boost i can run on a stock engine i think bigger injectors and a piggy-back will do fine.

what turbo are you two running?

Lobert: how are you controling fuel delivery and spark timing.

I'm using a T3/T4 hybrid off of a 87 Ford Thuderbird. I had to wedge the wastegate open to get it to only push 5 PSI but hey it works. As far as fuel and spark. All I did was hook it up. Haven't worked out the fuel problem yet. I have the wastegate set at about 4 right now with no problems, knowck/det. I'm planning on larger injectors and am also looking at the SMT5I piggyback unit.

lobert did you make the turbo a t3/t4 because the stock turbo on those cars was just a T3?

Wow, isnt that turbo a tad large? I mean, when do you reach full boost? When do you start making boost?

The guy that I bought it from did the modifaction on it. He was using it on a 2.3L Mustang.

With the wastegate propped open I start generating boost at around 4k. Once I get the engine work done I will start raising the levels up. Hoping to get around 15 PSI out this puppy.
