I figured that was not your intake system/intercooler combined, but I wanted to make sure.
Not sure on the dimentions of your intercooler, but summitracing sells 7* fans that move 400 CFM. You could mount just above, or just below the intercooler (pusher or puller) to draw air into/through the intercooler.

Ruben the turbo that I am useing is very small! A small turbo can only push so much preasure before it isn't doing you any good just heating up the air! I am only looking to make around 200 whp so I will have to play with this combo to see if I will need more boost preasure than this!
I have the stock pistons from the turbo scoupe in there with some really good rings I think that 15psi is the most I have ever heard on the stock pistons! But when I take my car to be tested They will be able to help me with the limits of this set up!

It could end up being cheaper/more reliable/more powerful to just use the stock fuel system with an upgraded pump and big injectors. Its what I plan on doing...
BTW, i have a 01 accent gs (1.6L DOHC with the damned returnless fuel system).

Umm, yea as I said earlier, what parts do I need for a turbo setup?
There is an *intercooled* Sprint at a local scrap yard, and I'm seriously thinking about making my '87 Pony a turbo. There is a great deal (I mean about 1.5-2 cubic feet) of room on the Pony's exhaust side. I'm more than confident that the turbo will fit there, just wondering how hard would this be?
Will it work well with a carburetor?

Skierd, I have a 2k1 GL and I have just installed a turbo on it as well. As long as you are not looking for max boost from the fuel system, i.e. keep it under 5 PSI, then there is no problem. I'm working on a way to get more fuel so I can turn the boost up some more.

You mean your running 5psi on the stock fuel system? eek! Are you controling the fuel curves at all? Where did u find a turbo that has a wastegate set to 5psi?
So much for me trying to be the first turbo 1.6L, lol. sad.gif
For more fuel, get bigger injectors and some sort of standalone ecm. Be easier than turning to return fuel system...
