It's not too much of a differance in normal driving, slightly deeper when pushing it. I don't know if its common but the part I like is it has a slight whistle when the pedal is over around 70%, and you can hear the air going in (hard to describe) when I hit the gas sharply (the bung is plastic not welded on), it sounds different but clean and not bad at all, I really like it.
BTW: welcome.gif

As for the big question, did you really even notice a difference in power after it was installed?

I noticed a difference after installing mine. I got slightly better mileage and had better throttle response.
With the following mods I made 100whp and 109lb/ft:
Short ram intake with K&N filter
Evofusion header
Magnaflow hi-flow cat
Custom 2.25" catback with Apexi N1 clone muffler
That's compared to a stock 1.6l which makes about 80-85whp generally.

Although I noticed a large increase in gas milage the standard seem to be a slight increase (It may just be the way I drive + all highway).

Wow that's not bad. How loud is it? Got any clips?

It's somewhat loud, I guess for lack of a better scale to use. It's much quieter than when i was running open header for a few days (by like a factor of 5) but it's far louder than stock.
Sure I have lots of videos.

What do you mean by that? Aluminum piping is aluminum piping. Its not really going to matter what car you take it from. Your friend must be blowing fittings because of too much boost. A non-boosted Accent should never have that problem. But anyways, you already have your intake. Guess I'm just mad cuz I'm one of the pioneers for the eclipse intake.

Maybe I should just convert it to full CAI. All I need is a coupler and another foot or so of piping.

Wow doesn't sound bad at all. Also love what you did with the tail's. The tail lights on these cars are one of my favorite things about them.

Thanks!
I really like the tails too, and I also thought the design looked really good from the factory compared to most tails at the time.
