Hyundai Accent Forum The Hyundai Accent Forum. Hyundai's little champ. While the Hyundai Accent and Hyundai Excel may be small, they respond very well to aftermarket modifications and is among the favorites for Hyundai tuners.

can't say for sure whether it's legit but honestly an intake is just a tube plus a filter, there's really no such thing as a "good" intake versus a "bad" intake.

I suggest that just for the piping, then go out and buy a nice filter.

I'm not going to try and turn you away from selling your car, but browse around a bit here and take a look at some other members' Accents. They can be a very fun car.

yes, actually it's no joke when it comes to modifying these cars. I take it kind of seriously no matter what anyone says about "hyundai". Check out my for sale forum, I'll give you a great deal on a short ram intake (bolt on for LC/LC2's) LC2 is the model you have.

Intakes on the MAP based Accents like yours are pretty simple. Any of the Ebay tubes should work, but I suggest you buy GLaccent01's intake. If you want to do a full cold air intake you can make the one from a 99 Eclips non-turbo fit. There are cheap ones of those on Ebay also.

The filters the cheap intakes come with are crap, so your best bet is to buy a K&N or other brand name filter for use on the intake.

I don't know, whatever they're going for on ebay. The short ram intakes seem to work out best on Accents for some reason though vs cold air intakes.

That's the exact one I have (same seller even) the filter I got wasn't bad but I ended up replacing it anyway, the one they sent was red I wanted blue.

Edit: It took them a while to ship cause they didn't have the clamps in stock.
