I have full health benefits at my job but my cousin refuses to get insurance through the ACA (Obamacare) because its very very expensive for him. $700 is the penalty for not having it. He said its actually cheaper to take the penalty than to have insurance.

That's the truth, and the "loophole" in the whole thing. Ironically, Obama created this to help the poor, then the poor are forced to pay heavy fines in order to evade it. And STILL have no healthcare.

The poor get subsidies and get the insurance. They don't pay the fines.

Not everyone gets the subsidies. Wife's best friend doesn't make enough to get that and makes too much to be covered by Medicaid. She does get an exemption from the fine due to the State not expanding Medicaid... so... not so bad I guess. Still no insurance.

That's not a problem with ACA though. That's your conservative Governor not taking the Fed funded Medicaid expansion because "f**k Obama". If all of the people like her wrote letters to the Governor, maybe it would change.

Not every person gets the endowments. Spouse's closest companion doesn't make enough to get that and makes an excessive amount to be secured by Medicaid. Moreover, I had the same question about car insurance. My sibling has prompted me Money Expert car insurance who assisted with all the reports and guidance about my vehicle protection. This is helpful in light of the fact that you no longer take care of enormous tabs for a breakdown and you remain quiet during a mishap. I feel that at all the years old to have vehicle protection is extremely necessary.
