i was a little short on cash as i had to pay shipment for my F2 bumper. it's stressful because they're having problems with the transaction. :x

 

This is lil dissapointing as i thought this GB would all be finalised by christmas so i could have sweet exhaust on car to cruise around with 02.gif

im still thinking about it.... first i need to see how much im going to spend on my exaust ark/mussa. And also need to decide if i want to buy headers and sell then in a year or two when i go turbo.

 

01tibby341, we are probably at the same exact stages. Personally I had the same decision. But the problem is I really wanted turbo hence the manifold would replace the headers. But my engine has 100k on it and I don't have any experience with turbos. It's like your engine on sterroids. Turbos are some serious biz..

The reason why I'm buying these headers are that 1) it's entirely your engine output 2) you can still use the same fuel efficiency unlike turbos which you will have to buy 89 high octane fuel and pay more 3) with a little extra you can get almost up to 200hp and a turbo alone would just be 50hp more. I know turbos are cheaper but they require a lot of pampering 4) this is probably the only time REDZ and Kspec will be doing a GB on such a big thing. 5) I'm trying to get in on a cat-back exhaust GB too. I'm waiting for Tim from Speed-Factor to come up with something as he mentioned he is doing. I also wanted to have my Tib growling by Christmas but I'm thinking that with a few more deposits on these headers, we will be able to get another surprise price break at 13. That's really nice of Kspec and really nice for us.

Don't buy these if you're serious about a turbo. I'm not serious about racing, but I want my car to be in the best shape, be really fast, and look nice. Not to forget low maintenance lol.gif

yea... i see what your saying and like i said i would love to go turbo but most likley not for a year or more. I also have alot of plans for the exterior of my tib. I may get in on this group buy depending on how much i'll be paying for my exaust. Guess i'll find out some time mid next week and then let you guys know if im in or not.
