how much horses can be gained with GT headers? i might join this since this is a rare event.

Not sure how much power you'd gain, but with sh*tty 4-1 header I was able to get almost half second faster at the track, so it's definitely worth it.

Nothing is legal here in MD, but who gives a sh*t? There is so many ricers with their fart pipes that never get pulled over, so you shouln't worry about header. Although you will have to relocated you O2 sensor behind the cat because we have to pass emission test every 2 years and with just this header you should get CEL.

hahaha! yeh.. that's true. would the relocation be difficult? and if it would be relocated to the back of the cat, would there be a CEL?

i wonder why headers would be illegal. i mean, you're changing a product to a better product. you see those porsche turbos, 3000gt's, svt/cobras, corvettes with 300+ horsepower stock. our cars are NOTHING compared to those unless we put turbos in! now, why would some friggin headers adding like 10 hp for a total of 150hp be illegal, compared to a 600hp viper i saw on the beltway? evil.gif

1. Look thru the thread mang, HP gained will depend on what mods you have done obviously. We don't have any dyno's on them, but I'm sure there will be a few when they are bought.

2. Yes, you can do that, just PM me for my addy mang. Also, add in the Paypal fees. Give you some times for what? Yes, that's when it ends.

3. Why wouldn't they be legal there? No, Korea won't have any info on legality in Maryland.

Seriously, you'd have to see what the emissions laws are there. You'll have to get the 02 sensors put in the right places, and you shouldn't get a CEL. You should pass emissions fine.

 

but if you ever get pulled over and cop finds anything that is not stock and doesn't have a CARB approved sticker on it will get him a repair order.... or even a ticket.

to relocate your o2 sensor, you will need to go to a muffler shop and get a o2 bung welded after the cat and then extend the wires from the 2nd sensor.

 

alright, i've got some paychecks. i'll be in the background for now, waiting for the numbers to close in on 12.

 

IMO header is on of the best upgrades that you can do to your NA car. Sh*tty painted header off ebay shaved off about half a second of 1/4 mile for me, and I'm sure that these headers are whole lot better and will give everyone better results.
