i'll be offering something as close as i can to stock style. POSSIBLLY i can get them polished, but i'll have to check.

Not worried about adding anyone else to the list, this is definately happening now. We needed that to show the interest to the folks wanting to make them.

Now, where do we stand?

They got the parts, did some measurements and started the CAD drawings. I have a pic of the ring with 6 holes and with 8. I think 8 looks perfect. You could use 4 for allen head screws if you want (should be included), and 4 for LED's if you want.

Once Kikassboy gets back from Cali, he'll post. He's stoked about doing small custom projects like this for us. Anyways, all that should need to happen now is get the prototype made, fit it, adjust the drawings for fitment issues, then production.

Any suggestions on screw types/materials/colors?

 

Well damn, if it's drawings you needed, then I could have done that. I could even make the ring in 3D. Remember, I'm an Autocad draftsman.

Those are just the first pics to see wether we want 6, 8 or 10 holes. Looks like we are going for 8. I had these last week and should have posted them sooner.
