wait you have to modify it a LOT if you want real screws? if that's the case, woudl it be worth it to have it like that? btw, if you guys just want dimples it'll be cheaper. as in affordable for everyone. with holes predrilled for nuts, not much more, but i don't want people messing up their interiors

It doesnt have to be modified alot. The only problem is that when you go to slid the ring in place will a boot there, there is no room(to thick). So you have to trim up the inside circle of the shifter surround. This is not noticable to anyone, its underneath. Check the photo of the shifter surround upside down, look close.

It makes a huge difference with this piece in there, noticeable right away and makes the the shifter stand out.

Heh, I'll update this in a bit again.

We got a quote.

You guys will be happy.

I won't post it, but it fits almost everyone's budget.

WHO HAS A STOCK RING THEY CAN SEND TO KIKASSBOY SO HE CAN GET MEASUREMENTS?!?!?

BTW, after seeing the pics, I think we should do the Ring, with locator nubs, and holes all the way through with matching screws/nuts.

Redz I would get one first and make sure they will fit in place with the boots your wife makes. That way people will know how much modifying they have to do incase they also have those boots to fit the new rings. Because if you look in the last pic closely I had to trim the whole inside part of where the ring sits and I have the rubber boot that is probably a lot thinner then the boots your wife makes.

If you want to send me a boot I can test it on mine and tell you.

Tibracer, that's okay, that's why we are going to make them the same size as the OEM ones, then there's no worries.

Jeckyl, DEFINATELY mang. I'll have Kikassboy PM you.

Mine is made to OEM size. It is the part that goes in between the inside of the shifter surround and the ring. Also the part that goes under the ring can be a problem.

But thats fine, if you need any help just PM me.

Yeah, it may have been cut to the right SIZE, but it's also got a couple of angles on it, that's why you had to cut yours. This one should fit OEM. So, no need to cut anything.
