Real screws are easy I have them on mine. All you do is line the holes up with the ones on the shifter surround and then stick the bolt though and use a nut to tighten it to the shifter surround. I have real bolts and I have a nut that tightens the ring to the surround to hold the shift boot in. The problem I had was that the new ring was to thick to fit in the spot and hold the boot in there so I had to modify the surround underneath and trim it up a little bit. I will get pics tonight form top so you can see what the real bolts look like and what it looks like underneath.

Ehh, of course it's going to look somewhat like stock. If it didn't, it wouldn't fit you moron.

They WILL be CnC'ed, and the idea of having them go all the way through and hold your boot with the screws and some nuts is a very good one. I'll run that by Kikassboy, that should save us some trouble.

Let's see. You can either:

1. CNC FAKE allen screws into the surround like the original.

or

2. NOT CNC fake screws, and use REAL ones instead.


It's one, or the other, not both!
