Okay guys, I'm working with Kikassboy to get this done.

Here's what the GB will be on.

RD2 shifter surround ring replacements. C&C'd from billet aluminum.

(RD1's don't have this, so no, it won't work for you unless you go to a RD2 shifter surround, it won't match up perfect with your dash, so don't buy if you don't think you can handle it.)


We are looking at having them either Stainless or Aluminum, and either with fake screw heads or divots.

Post any other ideas you have for them.

Price range is UNKNOWN right now, we are trying to see who else would want them so we can get us a price quote. It shouldn't be very expensive. We are looking at having a ring with the screw holes for mounting and the nubs for alignment.

As for price? READ THE THREAD. Guys, there is no price as no one will do this project with NO ONE interested. You have to help drive this by saying what price range you are expecting, as I said.

Why are instructions so hard for you guys to follow?

Instead of screw heads then, you'd have dimples around the ring, spaced evenly.

 

I think its a pretty sweet idea, but I probably wouldnt be interested if it was just like this becuase of the LEDs i have in my surround. BUT maybe they could be made like that! I know im not the only one that likes it, or maybe i am... LOL. Either that or with holes or something so that it could be done. I dunno, its just an idea. For those of you that have no clue what im talking about heres a pic:
