@ things?
1. I'm not in charge of this, but the guy isn't going to do it. Well, let me put it this way, he can, it'll raise the prices for everyone. Okay?
2. I know, I was a mechanical engineering student for a year, I don't care though. C&C got the point across.

The first post was to get folks interested into what could be done. These will be done one way only. With 10 holes, and should have the allen head bolts/nuts included.</div>
good. that's how i wanted it.... but 10 holes instead of the stock 6? Or is it 6 visible?

ok. 10 holes... i can deal with that.... although 6 matches my shifter knob perfectly.
Since you planned this, can you give us a DIY now to mount it to the shifter surround surface?
need info on this to start planning.

...
Sure...
Take off the shifter surround.
Remove the screws holding the boot ring and boot.
Remove the ring and boot.
Put the new ring with boot in place.
Drill new holes.
Use supplied nuts and bolts.
Replace shifter surround.

I'm interested also, but I won't post your the info you wanted, since you said you don't need it anymore. tongue.gif
I'll just sit back and wait until production. laugh.gif
BTW, DrivingTibNaked. VU meter out of the shifter LEDs... I just gotta steal that idea. So rice, but so cool at the same time. Functional rice!

^^^I'll be posting a DIY on how to make one soon. Or if you like, i can do it and send it out. it's about $30 and 1.5 hours to make one from parts at radio shack, not including LEDs. it is adjustable to work from the sterio deck or off a 10000W tripple bandpassed quadraphonic amplifier. basically it's LEDs adapted to work like a speaker.
The LEDs in the shifter surround was not my idea, but someone else's on the site. I have them currently arranged on the controller box and inside my back speakers.
I'm just combining my dancing LEDs with the shifter ring and some LED holders i special ordered.
REDZMAN: awesome. I think this will work well then... not all holes are needed. Did you post a picture of the 10 hole design? I only saw 6 and 8

I'm sorry, it's the 8 hole design we are going with. I was thinking wrong. I'd like to see the 10 to see if it looks crowded. If not, hell, let folks pick. But that would raise prices.

there would be more versitility in design if we went with the 10 hole design. I dont think it can be too crowded. With 10 hex screws, it would give the image that that shifter isn't going ANYWHERE.
I'd perfer 6, or 10. 6 is stock, 10 is BOLTED on... Can you do one with 10 to see how it would look?
When is this going to be submitted? I'm excited. We need a graphic of 10 screws before it gets sent out.
