i agree with redz, it should be by who paid first ,and take care of people who been waiting over a year for items that they never received. I ordered a C.F hood last Feb and still haven't received anything. thats my 2 cents....
^I thought we agreed on you getting the VDI kit and using the balance towards that? If not, I can finally send you the Evo hood they had waiting for you. It sucks that the reason you never got it was because of my long overdue balance. That's just because I didn't do my job the right way, and had no money to work with. Lets get it taken care of now ok sir! Thank you smile.gif
^^Look, this is the ONLY project you have any stake in, so I understand you want it FIRST. I dont mean any disrespect on that satement. I know you've hooked me up with the 3 cowls, Z fenders, and Mira sides and rear lip, which I am endlessly greatful for (and I can finally get I.T. to send you out that Type R smile.gif ), but those are not things you want for yourself. The cowling is something you are waiting for to use yourself. Here's the problem. First off, I've already commited to doing the cowl second. Not because that just works for me the best, but because its what makes sense. I'll explain...
For the RD2 Evo hood. I go to import trenz TOMORROW. They sign contracts, I drop off an evo hood I have, and they already have my metal OEM RD2 hood there. Matter of fact, I wont even drop off the Evo hood, I'll PICK UP the OEM hood, and drive that b**** myself up to their guy about an hour north from Import Trenz, so that we dont have to wait all week for him to come down and pick it up. Once its there, he'll be able to start on it possibly as soon as TUESDAY THIS WEEK. That means after a week of working on it, we might have a hood to test fit. I wont wait for it to come down to I.T. I'll drive back up to the guys place in Sylmar, test fit the hood, and take pics for you guys. If all fits nicely, we'll have the production pieces available a week later. THIS IS NOT UNDERESTIMATING. This is me making sure I.T. has NO EXCUSE on the first project. Then me and Bill continue selling the hoods, and the first 5 guys are taken care of.
Now on to the process of doing the cowling you, and lots of other people want done, be it first or second. I'll need to drop the money off, and after contracts are signed, I'll be searching the entire warehouse for every part I've taken there, and I'll be picking them all up. Nothing that isn't going to be molded right away, will be left there. IF, and only IF I can get the RD2 cowling I dropped off there, then we'll see it made/constructed possibly at the same time as the RD2 evo. The mold for this thing wont cost as much, but it'll need a bit of work, and I need to complete a rendering of the cowl for them. PLEASE SOMEBODY SEND ME A CLEAR SHOT OF YOUR RD2 COWLING WITH THE WIPERS UP AIMING DOWN AT THE COWLING. This is what I'll use for the rendering.
Once I present them with the rendering, which I plan to do this week, they'll need to take the two piece cowling, God willing I even find it, and mold the two pieces into one. Then they'll need to sand it down perfectly flat (which is why the RD2 is better to start with than the RD1 with all the extra ridges). After its flat, they'll make the single slit down the center, and open it up about an inch evenly down the middle of the cowling (long ways). Once that is done, we have to test fit the part to make sure in making it once piece from the two originals, that it is not extra long or short. It really should go fine, with not much effort. But I cant see the future so I really dont know. After we know it fits, THEN AND ONLY THEN can we start to manufacture it. Me and Bill dont have that kind of time to wait for all of this to be done to start our first project together.
Not if, but WHEN I tell them to do the RD2 Evo tomorrow, we know the OEM hood fits perfect, and all they have to do is cut a hole in the middle of it, and cut the Evo Vent out of the RD1 hood. Then they mold it in, and make sure its centered. Since its an OEM hood, I dont have to test fit it first, because again, we know it fits perfect. The only time I have to test fit this part, is when we have the first fiberglass unit out of the mold. Test fitting only means they have a green light to produce the next 9-10 hoods. Money is then made off the bat, instead of messing around for a few weeks in hope of a part that is small and not half as noticable as a fat Evo vent in the RD2 hood.
Its not about who needs to be taken care of first until we have a successful deal go through. But as I've already commited, the cowl will be next, and while the RD2 is being slammed out quick, I'll have time to get the Cowling prepped, if I have to do the work on it myself. I dont mean to sound upset, because inside I'm exstatic right now, and I owe a ton of that to you Jeremy, but this is the order of things as they make the most sense businesswise. My credibility will only raise back up after I take care of the orders people have paid for, and that means the RD2 Evo and the Cowling are the two most important things here.

bottom line chris, is you make this happen you make money. i've been telling that to you for two years damnit. there's absolutely nothing and that can stop you from making profit. those profits can pay off your debts once and for damn all.
i also think it's unfair to get the latest project going, but i feel good about you working out some of the values members who have purchased something from you in the shadow. if it doesn't be taken care of right now, it will never be taken care of and your customers will get some bad taste. as of now, you have to win them over all over again. that says what i've been saying this whole time: you have the sources, just put them together at once.
you NEED to get this stuff out. please take photos next week. i don't want to see you disappear and hide from the truth, hide from your debts. once i have seen photos of hoods and cowlings molded, lined up, stacked, then i'll be able to take a relaxing deep breath because then and only then i will know you're getting the hang of it.
you've been motivated for quite some time about this and explaining how the process will happen. i want you to start saying how it IS happening.

I guess I really haven't explained what is going on as of yesterday. I have a great guy named Bill who has seen what I'm going through. He went through it all himself, only years ago, and like me he has pushed through the hard times fun or not. He hit up Redzman, and spoke with him about me and my projects. Redz then hit me up, we spoke, he spilled the beans about Bill wanting to help if I'd let him, and told me to get my contact info together for Bill. The next day me and Bill spoke for the first time in about a year I'd say. I only talked to him once before this, and he seemed to be a great guy even then.
Well, as of tomorrow, me and Bill are basically partners with my current Hyundai Product line. I'm no longer in this alone, and I have a new mentor to look up to for advice and reassurance. I'm going to put all my chips in on this guys. I've been waiting for this, praying for this, and just hoping that it wasn't in vain. As of tomorrow, we'll officially have money invested on project 1. Once that comes to fruition, and the parts are available, both me and Bill will be selling these products. I really dont think its my place to go into further detail about Bills role in this unless he wants me to. From there, after project 1 comes to pass, I make the 5 dudes happy they waited, and we have a few hoods left in stock. Then we move on to project 2, the wiper cowls. After project 2, comes the long awaited Type S side skirts. Those will finish, while we're both making sales on the first 2 projects already, and then we move on. Systematically, we'll both work together to build up my rep, his rep, and in the process make TONS OF SMILES on Hyundai fans faces smile.gif
Thats the plan that was put into action over the weekend. It just so happens all of this went down the same day I acquired the money to pay off my balance with Import Trenz. I was just going to give it my best shot alone until I got the call from Redz. From there I KNEW everything would be ok, and I about pissed my pants with excitment after talking with Bill the first couple times the next day. I dont mean to paint the picture that somebody is coming in with a bunch of money to pay for my way out the hole, that's simply not the case. There is a TON of hard work ahead, but both Bill and myself are dedicated to that, and we'll make sure it all goes down smooth. Then today we spoke about other future plans, and it looks bright for both of us, and consequently for all of you guys.
A new wave is coming guys, and I'm just glad you'll all be around to ride it wink1.gif

You guys are where all the profits from the projects go until I'm all caught up. So I'm staying on my A Game until I have everyone paid off. After that I launch the site, load up products everyday, advertise, and eventually get the showroom and offices open.
who remember the post i made in the "rd2 evo hood gb," the one that got deleted, i got warned for, and everyone flamed me?
pretty much the EXACT same thing redz wrote a few posts up.
irony at it's best.

Zoned, some moderator deleted your post, I don't know who, but it's not right to post it again, just cause you don't like that it was deleted.
Yes, I know what you are talking about, but if you remember, Chris was actually STILL here at the time and posting.
Chris...
I'm sorry, but I still don't agree. I know I talked to you and talk to Bill daily, but skipping the oldest paid projects to go for the current ones because of the FBI complaint is just wrong, ethically and morally in my opinion.
You've had the strut bars and cowlings PAID for in full for well over a year. The Hoods for what, less than 6 months?
It's just wrong. Still wish you the luck, but now I know a bit more about you I didn't think was there.
