What are you talking about bro? Dude, nobody said anything about doing this because of the FBI but you. I still dont even know if the cowl is lost or not. If its that big of a deal, I'll see about doing the Cowl first. The whole point of all of this with Bill coming in is to raise the credibility of FlyRyde again, and if this is going to create some sort of war now that I'm getting help, I'd rather just squash it and release the cowling ASAP. If Bill agrees, we'll put the first project to the Cowls and try to do the Hoods at the same time. Just remember your opinion can screw up our progress here if you dont get your way and raise hell because of it. I'm trying to just keep everyone happy, and I thought that was starting to show again?

No one else has said anything chris because it's the weekend and the forums die on the weekend. But honestly, anyone can look at the situation and see that. What, 4 to 8 projects that started a year or so ago, and one that started what, 5 months ago, and THAT one is getting done first (and just happens to be the only one with complaints filed). Not being a dick, but I can add 1 and 1 dude. So can some of the other members here.
LOL
LOL
As long as anything happens soon, then I'll be happy. If the hood means that I can take care of all the refunds on the headers and strut bars from its sales alone, I believe it'd get the overall problem taken care of faster.
I mean, way before we started anything with import trenz I did a group buy on Vertical doors, and 3 of those people still aren't taken care of. Should I just stop everything until I can either buy their kits or refund 3000 dollars because THEY were first, even before the cowling? Where is the line? Its not 1 + 1, you have to admit you're being a bit patronizing about this. I realy could care less about what I'd prefer to do, its all about what makes sense based on the demands of the community. What you guys want, you get. That's how I'm trying to do this from now on. Not only that, but prices are dropping on new production pieces to help get a flow of sales going. Rather than price hoods and bumpers at 300 on the forums, we're going to drop that down to 265, and the same goes for prices on CF. As long as we cover our costs, and make a set minimum amount, then we can price the products lower, and keep sales higher. Everyone wins.

To make both of you happy, I'm gonna put a hold on the complaint.
If you actually get contacted by them Chris, then let me know.

i really do believe that you should take care of the people who have the oldest outstanding orders FIRST.
but at this point, i would rather just see progress on anything at all because i feel it is the best way to cover EVERYONE in a timely manner.

I never said to do the cowls first, it's just the furthest back one I could think of, along with the airram strut bars as I said earlier. THIS is what I said first.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (REDZMAN @ Feb 18 2007, 10:40 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>Chris, you need to get the list of projects going, and which one is the LONGEST overdue, so we can get that one fixed first.</div>
So, in my opinion, it should be WHATEVER was first. If it's the door hinges, then them.
It's obviously not happening that way, and as Tibby01 said, something is better than nothing, but which one will lose you more future business? That's the way I see it, and it is just wrong in my opinion. I know if I was in on one of those way back projects (I sorta am), and saw the most recently started one was getting completed first (which it is), I wouldn't be too happy, and probably wouldn't do any business with said company again because of it.
I mean shit dude, I've waited for what, 2 years for my hood, and finally went and bought an available one because I couldn't get my questions about the Scoote answered, over what, 4 months? If this had happened a few weeks ago, and you started at the back working forward, I'd have had the hood I wanted.
But that's neither here nor there, just get them done and fixed, and the members at the site will decide on their future support.

That's a good sign my man.

I'm sure the projects aren't as black and white as doing the oldest first. Only chris knows for sure.
If it only takes a few dollars to get a LOT of people happy on a newer GB, then why not take care of it first to satisfy that large group asap?
What if the older GB needs $2k to get going? Should he keep everyone on hold for it?
He's got all the info, it's his business, so let him sort through it.

I am helping with the header project, RED, as you know we talked about the possibility of headers. At this point there is just the prototype header that has been made. I want to be able to use this header to put out the header that will cover all of the BETA engines, with of course possible changes on the connector pipe that will individualize each car.
I do however want to make sure that the header prototype actually helps and that we are going to get what we are looking for. This week, we have made arrangements to have a dyno run to determine the before and after benefit of the header. Once we the test done, we will determine if it is the pattern we want to use. Production will be ordered and we will be able to look after existing orders and future orders for all vehicles using the BETA 4 cylinder
I hope this clears up the info on the headers. I want to be able to offer this for well under $300 as I have done with other header projects in the past. I just have to wait on the final quote. These will have our brand on them and the will be available through several suppliers. Time line is typically about 3 months. The new ones will be in stainless.

Not worried about it man, that's completely new and you are involved totally with that one.

Sure it's just as Black and White as that. How isn't it? I'm not saying he should go work on a hood that no one has put money towards, I never said that. He said himself that there are OLDER projects that are DONE, and folks are waiting for their parts (door hinges). Shouldn't those folks get their parts that are already done? They've been MADE, other members here have them, and these guys are sitting there for over a year without their parts, but it's more fair to ignore them and get your hood out first?

Oh, so now that he's working your project first, it's all nice and dandy and we should just shut up? Don't tell me what to do Jon, you said it yourself, we are supposed to look out for ALL of the members on the site, and as I explained to you before, that means ALL of the members, and ALL of the sales, NOT JUST THE ONES THAT YOU are involved in. Remember that?
Right is right, doesn't matter who's involved or how old the project is. I'm SURE members of the Evo Hood buy would understand, and MORE than enough of them would agree that the oldest projects that are <u>fully funded</u> (Strut bars, cowls, VDI kits, ect) should be first. Then when all of those previously fully funded ones are done, then the partially funded ones should go next, from oldest to newest.
I'm sorry, but it's just common sence.
