let's have a little more dignity for zoned. he's in this just as much as everyone else. he can account for being paid back a refund and was involved in the oldest existing projects.
on my behalf: what you have going with bill seems like an excellent plan to have his aid and get these things out the door faster and make profit for both of you. nobody can deny that. if it means making the EVO RD2 hoods first to pay back the profits then have at it AS long as it happens sometime by the end of the month soon. if you called ahead on valentines day with a reservation at an upper class restaurant and come in with your girlfriend waiting to be sat, then another couple comes in without a reservation and gets sat before you, wouldn't you think to not come back to that restaurant again? same deal here...
the only reason i'm leaning OK by me on this is because it's the hood that has been funded fully and the cadamuro would still be awaiting buyers i think largely because not a lot of people have heard of such thing.
next, redz is concerned about that hood because he sent the scoop for it to get molded. there's really no difference between the importance of those hoods, they both would look great and have the same functions and are molded the same way. the same way there is no difference between people with reserved tables, i could care less what color their hair is to determine whether or not they get sat first.
do what you have to do right now to get things done. at this point i on my behalf don't mind anymore what gets done first as long as something gets done promptly, is shown, is sold. do the hoods, do the cowlings, do whatever will make it worthwhile. as long as some evidence happens in the next 10 days we can be a happy family again.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (bhurlin @ Feb 19 2007, 12:23 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>I am helping with the header project, RED, as you know we talked about the possibility of headers. At this point there is just the prototype header that has been made. I want to be able to use this header to put out the header that will cover all of the BETA engines, with of course possible changes on the connector pipe that will individualize each car.
I do however want to make sure that the header prototype actually helps and that we are going to get what we are looking for. This week, we have made arrangements to have a dyno run to determine the before and after benefit of the header. Once we the test done, we will determine if it is the pattern we want to use. Production will be ordered and we will be able to look after existing orders and future orders for all vehicles using the BETA 4 cylinder
I hope this clears up the info on the headers. I want to be able to offer this for well under $300 as I have done with other header projects in the past. I just have to wait on the final quote. These will have our brand on them and the will be available through several suppliers. Time line is typically about 3 months. The new ones will be in stainless.

What shop do you work for?

Yeah, this is just getting out of hand giving the reins to somebody else. I will get advice from who's been there before. Anybody who's been in my shoes has the right to give advice, and everyone else, can feel their advice has merrit even if it doesn't. This may not make me everyones favorite person over night, and after all I've done to drag my name through the dirt, it just wouldn't be fair if it did. But I got people MAD right now, and until I start making some of them happy, we'll just keep up with who gets what first wars. Let me do my job, better than I've ever done it before, and as I asked for before, give me a small window of time and then re-evaluate. I've lost tons of respect here, that I may never get back, but one way or another I'll get that respect through members down the road and keep my track record clean. From then on, it'll all be working back towards gaining trust back.
Its like on ebay, once you get ANY negative feedback, you can never get 100% again. I just need to keep my goal that 99.9% now that I have some dings to my credit here. Bill is helping with that, and I couldn't be happier, but as of right this second, this is still nothing but more words typed on a web forum. When I come through on project one, whatever I choose that to be, then I'll START gaining trust back, one by one.
I also have APE about to fab me up some more bars, but Tom doesn't really even want to do it unless he knows they'll sell. I've pissed off Gary really bad, and I have Moo still waiting as well, with only one bar in stock, and Tom wants that for himself. So until he fabs me up two more, then I have two potentially angry dudes on just that front.
The strut bars, and headers, and exhausts, all need to be refunded. They wont be produced, they'll be refunded, and that money can be spent on the new exhausts or headers that somebody else produces instead of FlyRyde. All three issues, Body parts, APE parts, and old Hotshot parts, will be worked on at the same time. I dont need a dime from FlyRyde for myself right now, so any profits whatsoever, every set of angel eyes that sells, will work off this debt and refund customers while we're getting the promised parts that I CAN do finished. I gotta stop writting these book long posts, sheesh.

I'm not being an ass, and I could care less if you are serious. It's completely transparent to me, and anyone else that can see all of the posts would probably agree. So no, I won't stop.

I'm not concerned about those hoods at all, and I sent in all 3 scoops I had. Others sent in hoods too. I wasn't comparing the importance of hood projects, it was ALL PROJECTS.

I agreed on this earlier. Just because I don't agree with the order that he's doing them in, isn't going to change it, he's still going to do what he thinks is right, and as I said, I wish him the best with it and hope it all gets done one way or another soon. All I did is point out that it's wrong to take the current project first, that we can all see WHY he took it first, and that the folks that have been waiting the longest for the farthest back projects are being f***ED in the deal.

He doesn't. Bill's information is highly classified at this time, but everyone will see what's going on soon enough, I just got off of the phone with him again.
This thread, with my help unfortunately, has gotten out of hand and is now closed. SOCKS or Chris can start up a NEW thread in here, with the DETAILED LISTING OF PROJECTS/STATUSES that we said needed to be done 2 pages ago, and comments will be held to a minimum.
I now verbally warn myself for taking this thread this far to the side.
Git r dun Chris.
