Keep it monthly.
Hide entries to general public, although the number of entries should be displayed.
Remove category specific entries. They don't level the playing field, limit entries, and make it harder to enter if you don't have your car done in the right month
and start a Best POS.
(Potentially Outstanding Showpiece).
I held that class as a popular vote at the last car show I organized and awarded an old Datsun beater a very nice plaque that simply stated "Best POS - Better Luck Next Time" (and what P.O.S. stood for..)

Keep it open, and monthly. I haven't entered 'cause I haven't finished my car to the point I'd like to show it, but will finish it in the next year for sure!! Oh, and I'm keeping my tib NA. wink1.gif
How about posting (on the home page, maybe????) an advisory that if participation doesn't increase for the COTM, that it will be discontinued as of <specify_date> (eg. 2011)? Maybe this will really get those who want it going, to participate.
