Due to the lack of participation for COTM and also the fact that we are starting to see the same cars over and over again the staff would like to know if we should keep running this. please post your vote, thanks in advance.

Voted to keep it. Mainly cause my car wasn't in it yet lol.

 

I always liked it, but the lack of entries is kinda depressing. How about running it less often, Car of the Season anyone? haha

 

visionz brought up that idea or what they do on his site. every three months if i remember correctly is how they do it. I kinda want to just make it anything goes all year around. we used to have people complain they werent going to win against a turbo tib. at that time i agreed with it and all the past COTY's are TC'ed.

I feel COTM gives us something to look forward too each month plus for the people that havent got the chance to do it or even perhaps a new member that hasn't found RDT will be dissappointed if they come here and see they can't participate in it anymore.

 

Open it to any car owned by a registered member instead of just RD's.

 

Yeah, opening it up completely would be a good idea. So few turbo cars/projects still around, maybe it's just 'cause its winter

 

It has always been open to any car made by hyundai guys.

we have had two different cars non RD win COTM

but, lol, both of them are both TC'ed big time and very professionally done i might add.

 

Keep it open, just get the pansy ass members that have never entered their cars in there to enter them.

The females thread is what, 60+pages! If we have a desire to still produce a calender next year, lets mix it up. Alternate competitions each month. One month be COTM (Car of the month), the next month be COTM (Chick of the month)!!! I think it would add something new to the site, spice things up, and would be a nice change of pace from the same old Car of the month x12. With half as many months to enter for COTM, that would raise entities and competition again. PLUS....for all the ladies who love posting pics by their sexy tibs, a way to maybe land a spot on next years calender for all of us members to drool over! Their cars of course.......

we better get a couple of handtowels prepared for tibchic cause as of right now she is the only one that i know of on here that still has their tib, lmao.
