Okay, it's probably just that I'm stupid, but did you HAVE to install the Korean Spec Headlights in order for the SR HID system to work? Or would the SR HID's work w/ the stock housing and such?

Also, what are your personal opinions of them, Random? Do you like the lights/are they worth the money? I love those headlights. That purplish tint just draws me I think.. Once again, looks good

Will there be a kit extension so that we can put HID foglights into the stock foglight housings?

Raithan-

no, you can install the HID's in normal USA spec headlights. I just happend to wait to install the Korean Spec headlights till I got the HID set.

My personal opinon of them? After less than 24 hours with them I love them. But let's wait and see what I think of them after the 1500 mile round trip drive to Utah and back. That will be the REAL test.

IAGO, the HID's will work for any bulb that they have HID kits for. I do NOT think that they have HID's in H3's, so the stock foggies are outta the question, but you could probably get the Hella HID's like I have or the Hella HID Micro's and just mount them behind the front "glass" of the stock foglight. (at least on a gen1 fog light, they are fairly big). You would have to hack the stock foglight apart, and just grab the front lens, the mount the lens in the front of the bumper like normal, and silocone in behind it, then put the HELLA HID light behind that.

That is an old Shark Racing system. It fits Korean cars, but not USA spec cars. It comes with a matching "bomb" muffler with removeable resonator to make it a straight through muffler. The whole thing is too big and long to ship VIA normal UPS, so it has to be shipped freight.

If anyone wants to pick it up, it's theirs! (unless Yamaneko or Boogyman has some plan for it. It's been in my garage for nearly a year now.)

So since the Korean Spec Headlights were not needed for the mod, what other benefits do they have over the USA spec headlights?
