Default FS - Momo shift knob

clutch messed up at all? you may have to tighten the cable, but its most likely some sort of sensor.

I have this same issue with my car. I have done everything from Chemtool, Cleaned Air Filter, changed fuel filter, etc. Nothing has worked so far. 97Tibby, are you serious?? If so, I will be super happy!

I put a new set of plugs and wires in the day it started, thinking it was just a tune-up issue.

Default Re: Fuel Management

well, the coolant temp sensor tells the ecu how much fuel to deliever, if the coolant temp sees the engine too cold it literaly dumps fuel into the engine to try and warm it up, if it sees the engine hot, it reduces the amount of fuel to deliever. My problem was that it thought the engine was cold so i was running extremely rich and the spark plugs i had in there werent hot enough plugs to ignite the amount of fuel, it was basicly fouling out my plugs. the sputtering is more fuel igniting in one cylinder then another and the amount of fuel that the spark plug ignites is different on each revolution! if you have any other questions, or require further explantion, please feel free to message me. hope this helps.

Same thing happened to me before. Clean your TPS and you should be fine.
