Doode, contact David. You can get just the disk from the VHR kit if you want for cheaper I bet.

Or get the full kit, flywheel and all.

The street disk should hold fine for a 75 shot. Anything more than that you will probably have to beef up the tranny too. A guy in my car club has a low 12s eclipse gsx with a street disk and holds fine, yet is still streetable.

Default Re: Body Kit

i know of a tiburon holding over 300 with a clutchnet cluth..

they are cheap.. and according to my reliable source, durable.

Act is nice.. but i dont like the attitude of their customer service people.

I asked for a clutch that could hold 400whp, and they said "what for, nobody has even made 200 with that car."

I then offered them a deal. I told them i would R&D their toughest clutch for their tiburon, and if it slipped on the dyno. They paid labor to remove and install a new clutch. Also i demanded that they make me a clutch strong enough to support what ever stupidity i throw at my car.

The salesperson began getting worried.. i think he thought i was i going to kick his ass too... but anyways.

I would like to see centerforce make a clutch.

I fried a spec stage 4 with a 75. I had a clutchmasters stage 4 twice. Clutchmasters was definantly grippy. Its also under 650 i think.
I also dont like their customer service that much.

For a 75.. you should be able to get away with a clutchmasters stage 3. Random ran around with that in his alpine turbo tib for almost a year. When we removed the tranny, dam clutch looked almost brand new.
VERY long lasting.

It's better to get the 4 pucks or 6 pucks clutch with the springs in the disk????

My stepfather bought a 4 puck without the springs in the disk, and every time that he release the clutch slowly in 1st gear, the car began to shake...

Default Re: confused limey!

all the stages 3s and 4s i have seen came with springs. To tell you the truth.. ive never seen a tiburon clutch without springs.

I have owned 2 clutchmasters stage 4s
clutchnet 4 puck
3 stockers
3 specs stage 4s

Ive seen
clutchmasters stage 3 twice

Of course,... not all of the ones i owned ever actually made it to my car...

My favorite so far has to be the stage 3 clutchmasters. Dam thing was just way too long lasting for me to look down on it.
