I did underaxle on my tiburon, and my car was tucking all 4 corners and never had an issue. Do you do emissions testing where you are? Why put the cat on there?

All state inspections require a cat, that doesn't mean every inspector won't notice. It's actually a federal law to have a cat and if you are pulled over without a cat on your car you can be fined up to $5000.

just FYI for those who want to skip the cat...I know I wouldn't since you barely gain anything compared to a hi-flow

Sunday i got my exhaust on, and yesterday i took these two vids

this video is taken by my phone, has decent quality

this video was taken by my cousins phone, for some reason the video is smaller but you still get the idea.

and im defiantly going 45 mph... since going over the speed limit is illegal... wink1.gif

Out with the old

In with the new!

(Thats the only parts of the exhaust that arent mandrel bent)

Almost got it straight back from the header

28" Glasspack

Up over the rear axel, was sort of a PITA and still needs some adjustments to clear the frame, but its pretty good right now.
also put a flange on the muffler so i could switch it out if i ever wanted to change it. Now that i think of it i should have put another set of flanges on the Cat, and made an insert with no cat that i could throw on if i wanted my car to be real loud =]... oh well.

Magnaflow tip

Still need to make some adjustments on the hangers so it sits a little higher, and i need to paint it. But IMO it sounds so nice. In the car it sounds like a stock exhuast but outside it sounds real nice, not like a ricey fart can smile.gif

LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU THINK!!!!

Soooo someone jacked my exhaust the other day, took it right off my car while it was sitting in the driveway...

Lol but seriously, great job man! I'm jealous you got to put it on yourself. I wish I had the tools & skills to do that.

Have you noticed an increase in torque from 1500-2500 RPM? That's probably the thing I love most about my exhaust. The car doesn't feel as strained under normal acceleration and it's generally more fun to drive.

oh yea i noticed a huge difference. Im sure its partially because the exhaust is flowing a lot better from the header to the rest of the exhaust, and because the cat is cleared up now. I cant wait to hear what its going to sound like in a couple days when its broken in and what not.
