there's a nice flow chart for dtc p0121, p0122, & p0123 (tps codes) on the hmaservice website that you could follow.. i think i've ran into a problem where if your tps was either tampered with or just misadjusted that you will get problems like you're experiencing right now. it's worth a shot to follow the chart to the best of your ability. try to set the tps to the right specs and see what happens, also clean your throttle body right after you reset the tps. you'll need a dvom to set the tps.

Hell, call up and see if you can get it as a "Goodwill" replacement, it IS under TSB from Hyundai.

You replaced it, but with what?

Did you reset your ECU afterwards?

replaced it with a kefico and then reset the ECU.

stupid edit going away after so many hours... I hate looking like I'm double posting....

but here's an update... cars fixed... and I'm a moron... While messing with my intake to see how hard it was going to be to install my air ram.... I put the MAF on backwards..... someone slap the stupid out of me please kthx

ok I'm going to hopefully put my air ram on tomorrow.... and hopefully I'll put everything on the correct way... I'll take lots of pictures of the install since there really isn't much on a DIY for the air ram

you touch the maf at all?

QUOTE (kcvortex @ Mar 28 2006, 05:46 PM)
didn't touch the MAF....

First, double, then TRIPLE check your MAF.

QUOTE (alex01tib @ Mar 29 2006, 12:23 AM)
if you have a cai id check for leaks, it sounds like the maf isnt getting a correct reading on the air. if you have a cai tighten the couplers. if you have a stock box, make sure its not leaking.

check the wires on both the tps and the maf, as well as the arrow on the maf is pointing in the right direction.

I should ban you for a week. We PUSH that because it happens all the time, to lots of folks. And guess what? They are all POSITIVE it's on the right way.
