IMO it's worthless.

Only 166 N*m @ 7000 RPM... 2.0 Beta produce 186 N*m @ 4200 RPM.

The are alot of engines that will fit our engine bay. All 4 cyl. engine will fit, lot's of V6 should fit. But you have to solve tranny problem, drive shafts problem and so on.

The main problem with engine swaps isn't finding an engine that fits. The problems come from actually making a different engine and transmission work in a Tib. Engine mounts, wiring, etc. are just a few of the problems you'll encounter. Then, in the end, you'll have spent thousands of dollars on swapping an engine in that isn't all that much more powerful than the Beta 1. In the end, it's much cheaper to just strengthen the engine, and throw a turbo on it.

Yes, you probably could swap that in. People have swapped 4G63T and SR20DET engines into Tibs. So, it is most likely possible. Economical? Not really.

I don’t want to swap my engine. Someone told me something and I just want to discuss it with you guys so I can read your opinion.

that engine that you listed has 175 hp gained at 7500 RPM, you don't want to rev it that high all the time.

don't forget:

HP = TQ * RPM

That's why 1L 4 cyl bycicles engines have 170 hp (at 12,000 RPM) but they have low torque.

just looking at that picture it does look like it wouldn't be TOO hard to put that engine in...
