Been thinking, maybe overthinking, but I've noticed the shape of the Beta1 and Beta2 inlet manifolds are completely different, one has short fat plenum with short runners (Beta2), other has longer, much thinner plenum with longer runners (Beta1). Would there be any performance gains in putting a bet2 intake on a Beta1?
I know the idle air is external, and I'd need to connect MAP up somehow, but I have plenty of pipe fittings at work, so drilling, tapping and putting an NPT pipe fitting won't be a problem.

so is your coupe a maf or a map based system. and by beta 2.5 i meant the cvvt version. i know there was never really a 2.5 but sometimes it is refered to as that

Its a cvvt manifold i have spare. I know its a MAF engine, and my current tib has an older MAP, but i can sort that, and idle control. What i want to know is whether its worth trying?

These are the 2 I've got, the one on the left being from a Beta2, the right one a Beta1.

Also, whats this extra hole for? It's on 2nd runner from the right.
