Redz, are you running a 1.8 out of a Tib? Knowing Hyundai, its probably not the solution, but maybe the fuel/timing in the 1.8 Elantra is slightly different than in the Tib? Considering the Tib was more of Hyundai's try at a sports coupe, and the Elantra more of a family vehicle?

i think they accomplished that through the drastic changes in gearing in the trannies.

could be a possibility though.

No.

No. You don't know Hyundai, they make one of one thing, to save money. Hence 1 TB, 1 IM for 1.8 and 2.0, ect.

You might. Who knows? The stock exhaust and intake suck pretty bad.

Hamhead, that was a STUPID comment.

Knowing General Mills, they probably do or possibly not make cereal based products out of feces.

STFU.

Hamhead, start making worthwhile posts, and stop with your "All knowing" bs everywhere.

Uhm, that's how you would find out. Hell if I know man, I put it on with my CAI, plugs, wires and BBTB and had big differences.

If nothing else, your car will run better and smoother.

Are you planning on doing no other mods to your car? If so, why bother?

I plan on doing plugs/wires and CAI pretty soon.

The whole idea of modding is trying new things to better your ride IMO So.. Redz props for doing it. I however am getting pissed at people trying to bash this mod because theres no proof it actually makes gains. Try it yourself... Take the chance... ANd get the hell off REDZ's back.. Geeez guys...

Nobody is bashing Redz's idea. I just don't want to spend the money on a mod that may or may not work. Especially when I can get a mod (CAI) that will produce results on any car that you put it on.
