I've tried BOTH the ecu from a 97 tib ... and an ecu from a 98 elantra ... both yeilded the same CEL code for me... I'm just running CAI and 2.5" cat back.

any ideas.

Would be helpful if we knew what the CEL code was...

Not 100%, but it looks like the Rev A ECU had some issues. Give it a try for us girl.

Neo, you don't have headers? Maybe the heat is all building up in the OEM CAST headers and your aftermarket exhaust isn't heating up because of it.

Tell them what your CEL is.

LOL Go get one locally, you can find one, easy.

BTW, PM me about the mount.

I can't remember the # but it's a CEL for the exhaust not being hot enough. LOL I'm serious. Shaddoh has talked to him about it a bunch, he's got all the info too.

Everyone if you get one, before you install it, write down the Part # and the vehicle you got it from, also, the ECU MFR name for us.

Don't know what you have done to your car, but everyone else that has installed it got results right away.

not sure what the deal is but my car has cai, 4-2-1 header, xd intake cam, upgraded eclips gst fuel pump and a fresh motor rebuild 3 weeks ago those are the mods I have that would have any effect on what happens other than nitrous.....but this ecu seems like it would work better with nitrous because its so ritch.
