I have an Automatic 2001 Tiburon, But I do not have a tape measure...It is interesting. I have never raced a 5 speed 2001 Tiburon. I have slow acceleration. My only mods are as follows: Otto Racing Exhaust, 91 Civic Short ram intake, and that's about it. I am, However, going to Supercharge it. I am also going to lower it. Then I'm going to trade it in and get some cash for a down payment on a Subaru WRX STi. I love rally cars!

I have an Automatic tiburon!.... but i will have the number till tonight!... so wait and I“ll post the numbers.....


but I think the real deal is that someone could have number of a Tucson“s engine of from a Santa Fe......

tucson has the 2.0 engine!... so... maybe, right!....

so has anybody actualy checked yet? lol sharkev had a good idea with checking the other cars too. finding people to check those might be a little harder. tell then waiting patiently.

OK.............UPDATE!!!


Thanks to kitman, i remember and i went to my car to check out the numbers and this is what I saw............


Tiburon 2000 2.0L Automatic...... 54 or 55 mm.,............. i not sure because the space to check out is very small... so this is it.....


so anyone has numbers from an Manual???... i guess it has the same numbers.........

I gonna try to get numbers from a Tucson with 2.0 diesel... but I“m not sure if the owner would let me touch his one week brand new Tucson.... lol......

anyone??


ps. this numbers are where the butterfly is......... not from the front......

Cute thread guys, but nope, it's 54MM for BOTH Auto and Manaul.

Remember what Hyundai is about, making good cars for cheap.

Cheap = Less DIFFERENT parts per model.

There's only ONE Beta 2.0 TB.

54MM.

It can be bored to 58MM.
