Lots of folks in the old school have. We told you what you need to do, so go do it man. Just take it to a machine shop in your town and tell them you want it bored to 58MM and a 57MM Butterfly.

Simple.

Shoud cost about 40 bucks.

Thanks reds. Now I just have to find a shop with a milling machine and a free day so that they can hopefully do it in just a day. Don't want my car out of commission for to long.

It's RED Z.

LOL

Here's my advise.

Get a EXTRA TB, have them do that one, and if it comes out good, HAVE THEM DO THE OTHER ONE (after you swap), and sell it on here with a core charge. Then folks here can have a CHEAP option for a OEM BBTB.

Hmm.

I don't remember. I think it's at 58MM or 54. I'll have to check unless someone else has one sitting around handy to measure.

I don't remember exactly where I read it, but I am pretty sure REDZ is right, it's 58mm for the IM opening. That's why everybody advises when going with bigger TB's that you HAVE TO enlarge the IM opening. With the OEM BBTB mod you shoud be save with the stock IM, however, it would be better if you have a larger opening than the TB, like 2 or 3 mm larger.
