if you get a battery with higher specs than of course it will perform better.

saying oddyssey is better than optima without having any specs to back it up is completely useless.

I changed from the Optima Red Top to the Odyssey 680. I found out last night that the Odyssey doesn't even compare to the Optima as far as performance. It takes a bit longer to crank over the car, and I ran the Odyssey dead last night listening to the radio for a few hours. The Optima has lasted at least twice as long as that.

I'm gonna continue to use the Odyssey, but only because I need it for the weight loss. Otherwise, I would keep the Optima. This is a race only mod.

before you compare apples to oranges (or hyundais to hondas) you have to look at the specs. the LITTLE odyessy 680 simply does not have the reserve to power a stereo for a couple of hours. If you want a performance battery for just running the car and starting it.. the 680 is the way to go. If you have any kind of semi-serious ICE or anything, you need to move up to the 925 ( i forget the exact size.. but it is the one I have) which is about twice the size of the little 680 but still a LOT lighter and smaller than stock.

I have not had a single problem with mine.

I have a stock radio/system. It ran the radio for like 4 hours.

Mines stock too. Did you run it full for 4 hrs? I run mine full for 30 mins but have never tried past there.
