mine worked. I have the Y piece from the INJEN knockoff and the AEM up pipe.
You just need to work with it more. Try using a different mounting hole. i think you're supposed to use the one to the left of the one you're using. the filter should face cone to the front of the vehical. It won't go quite perfectly forewards, but it should be that direction. Also, try turning your Y piece different directions.
are you using the 1 +ingen piece or the 2 + ingen piece AEM knockoff... the 3 piece allows for even more flexibility.

The problem is that bloody black thing.. Does everyone have that? It makes it REALLY difficult to get anything in there. I only have a one piece AEM knockoff....

now your canister is diferent then in the u.s. you might just be able to move it somewhere under the fender where it is.
also maybe you should start another thread this is not the rite thread for your problem and sence this is a diferent canister on a l8r year car its new thread material.

Hmm, same instructions on AEM website and from the intake box. I was hoping someone could explain something to me. I had to remove a small round metalic disk, almost like a metal speaker, from the front left bumper, where the air filter of the CaI goes. What does that thing do, and do I need to keep it on?
