thanks for the answer, i'll try to install it without and if it seems dangerous i'll try to make my own replacement part with random nuts and washers^^

because that 5,99 part would cost me like 20$ with shipping to canada lol

^ Just don't make the CAI your engine damper, remember the engine is supposed to move back and forth a bit.

that pic made me question being a real AEM for a minute, but it looks like the stock pics from the AEM DIY, so it was probably a prototype piece. the real production AEM CAI's are powdercoated and are one-piece.


and you don't need that rubber piece, mine cracked off a while after i got it. didnt make any noise or rub against anything without it.

Anyone recommend where I should install my AEM Bypass Valve on the one piece AEM CAI???
