Oil Pressure Mishap

Last night my wife and I went to the mall 30 minutes away. Right when we got there I smelled oil burning. I looked at my OP gauge and it was flickering at 0. Pull into the parking lot, pop my hood and see the transmitter dangling. The brass fitting they provide you with snapped off. The only thing I can think is that it was the vibration that finally broke it. I have been over there all morning trying to get the remainder of the fitting out with no luck. So I went with my last resort which was goop some JB weld in and around the hole. I need to go back in an hour to pick it up.

Well, the JB weld didn't work. I may just need to put more around the bottom. I had to tow my car here from Destin, which is about 20-25 miles. :evilguy: I am probably going to go to Sears and buy one of the power extractor bits and use that to get it out, should work.

I tried an easy out and it wasn't working. It might be because I didn't drill into it first, I just used the hole that was there. They made the fittings out of brass for some reason.
