Yah as the title says I have a slight spinout problem. I know the first thing every one is gonna ask how bald are your tires; Put it this way i needed tires yesterday. But i was wondering is it just the tires or is it a combo of entering a turn too fast and at a too sharp of an angle. I was also wondering whats the weight distribution ratio of our cars (01 for me). At first a little drift can be fun, but when i left school today i went from the far left lane to the right the merges into regular traffic kinda like an on ramp onto a highway yet there is no ramp. I was goin around 40-50 mph and it was a kinda sharpish turn, once I herd the cherp from the rear tires it was too late I supn out in one lane and was soon pointing against traffic. Besides making a fool of my self it was ok but if i keep spinning I might hit somethin or some one soon. Hit me up with suggestions, I know i need rubber bad.

I dont know, they not suspose to be able to right, but some how the back end of my car like to come around and meet the front. my friend and I recently rotated the tires so the bald ones are in the back. Since the Ive more than a few ocassions where the the rear end of the car looses traction.

You should buy new tire's. And drive safely on the road, there are other people who use it. It is not your or anyones personal race track. And are cars a FWD so they can never "Drift".

My rear on mine slides out to if I go into a corner to sharp and fast. On every tib Ive owned thats happened. Not to the poiunt where I spin but where it will start to slide. I wouldnt call it drifting just because its not RWD. It just has to do with the suspen sion setup and differences in stiffness I guess

Yah, well if you get it to slide and recover it what do you call it? A pseudo drift, or a slide. im just calling it a drift because thats the closest thing i can link it to. I know you cant really drift a FWD too. But when you experience it, it seems like a drift.

Agreed. Do some suspension work. Springs, struts, some strut bars. That will all help a ton Im sure

So it snows in wisonsin, an 1time i was drivin my car in the snow (i kno what a shame). but anyways, i was turnin once an i ended up ridin the clutch quite a bit an when i dropped it finally, my ass end kicked out really really wicked like it was some muscle car leavin rubber on the road. i didnt spin around all the way or anything, and thats the only time its ever happened to me.
i dont even kno if u have an auto or manual tranny tho, and like i said it was on a snowy day.
