the unfortunate thing that i see is updrading to a bigger turbo may prove to be an issue. you could upgrade the comp wheel and housing, which will help greatly, but im not sure what the turbine specs are.
the flange doesn't look to be a standard flange like mitsubishis. if it was, it would make upgrading to a 16,18,20g, very easy.

Rhys has said that because of the non-standard flange and turbo design, he'll only be selling complete upgrade kits that include a manifold and turbo. His complete kit is going to include the turbo, manifold, intercooler piping, downpipe, fuel needs, tuning, top mount intercooler and hood.
The one on the SEMA car is stock, as is the engine. The only thing they did under the hood of the SEMA car was the new intercooler setup to go with the hood. Rhys did this because he wanted to make sure the car could move under it's own power at SEMA. if he started tearing into the motor, he couldn't be sure it would run in time for the show.

for SOCKS: yea he upgraded the turbo to an HKS one i believe. he did alot of the engine mods after the initial body stuff was done, from what i read in a few magazines. his first press conference about the car only aesthetic and weight reduction were done...
As stated above, at SEMA it was stock. I'm sure it's far from stock by now as Rhys's plan has been to have parts available when the Coupe goes on sale.

i agree this genesis coupe will be the next best tuner car out their, even the non hyundai people will take notice of the genesis, but i keep hearing the same thing from people. That the genesis turbo coupe comes with the evo 10, 4b11 motor, and that it was de-tuned by hyundai to 212-20hp so customers would buy the v6 other than the turbo 4 cylinder.
the genesis motor is based off of the world motor which was developed by hyundai chrylser and mistubishi all together.....read up on it
the 4b11 is a form of the world motor just like the one in a gen coupe and in a srt4
