You know... I have some actual interior/exterior pics from the Philly Internartional Auto Show that I went to yesterday.

Literally, I felt like I was sitting in my 06 Tib when I planted my ass in the seat.

And the Tib is coming back in 2010. The Hyundai reps at the auto show confirmed it. He said they are keeping it on the DL because they want to sell the Genesis coupes FIRST to see how it does... then have the Tibs make a comeback since they are obviously more affordable and less powerful.

I can get more info when I got to the NY International Auto show in March. They usually have much more info since it's a bigger show.

**EDIT**

I uploaded the few pics I took. These were from Wednesday.

Here's the inside of the Gen. Coupe. Notice the missing shift knob due to sleezy m'fers trying to steal it, LOL. Very sleek... and I like the XM button. wink1.gif

The guages and wheel. Speedometer goes up to 160mph and there is a bluetooth button on the actual steering wheel. This model was the i4 twin turbo model... NOT the V6 3.8L model.

Hind end.

Now THESE are from the 2008 New York Int. Auto Show.

Have a nice day. smile.gif

doing some research today on the gen coupe... found out some info i dont thnink was previously known..

turbo is a TDO4L-13TK, it has an integrated BOV like the SRT-4's and pushes 15psi from the factory. this turbo is pretty damn small, but will have NO lag at all, and explains the low stock hp numbers. a turbo of this size will max its efficiency at 220-240whp. BUT, itll be instant power pretty much.

the unfortunate thing that i see is updrading to a bigger turbo may prove to be an issue. you could upgrade the comp wheel and housing, which will help greatly, but im not sure what the turbine specs are.

the flange doesn't look to be a standard flange like mitsubishis. if it was, it would make upgrading to a 16,18,20g, very easy.

^that is the stock turbo in the pic, im not sure if rhys actually upgraded the turbo or not, they may have done a diff turbo after the pics. you can see the integrated BOV in the bottom of the pic.

imo, this coupe in the pics below will be hard to top looks wise. add the stock spoiler, black out the tails and even i have to admit, it would be HOTT as hell..

for SOCKS: yea he upgraded the turbo to an HKS one i believe. he did alot of the engine mods after the initial body stuff was done, from what i read in a few magazines. his first press conference about the car only aesthetic and weight reduction were done...

^^^ I would love to have a black genesis or something like the 3rd to last genesis on that string of pics. However, with bronze rims instead of the gold lol. But I don't see that happening since I have like a billion years of college left and I don't play the lottery.
