The CTR had a B16B...which you couldnt get here in the states
I think your thinking of the New Civic SI's (the ones what look like minivans)
Then, yes those two have the same motor starting in 04 or 05 cant remember.

okay, first off, let me say. there IS no comparing any 1997 to any 2002, 3, 4, 5...etc!
you cannot compare the technology because they're different eras. they're different cars. they're different prices and different qualities.
i don't think automatic transmission is all that bad. with stick you can mess up sometimes, but auto every time is the same.
plus if you do the right mods, there's really no difference between stick or auto, just the weight of the transmission. obviously the materials acura uses are probably lighter than they were in the rsx than the integras 12 years ago.
vipers are just fast. i was driving next to one on the road and cut it off. next thing i know i hear a rattle and two seconds later it's just gooooone into the horizon and disappears. OK, so i don't think a stock RSX could ever do that. that's just what i was saying.

YEA RSX's have 200hp and stock tib (2.0) has 140hp, but RSX has 140Lbs TQ and thats the same a a (2.0) Tib, and the fact that Type-S have leather and a shit load of options that add weight (leather front and rear seats).. RSX is also 300LBS heavier and from a launching point tib takes an RSX off the line, ALSO CONSIDERING that before the 6,000rpm when Vtec kicks in, the car only has 160hp.....SO YES and RSX is faster than a (2.0) tib not by much in the 1/4. now if you wanna compare autocross or road coarse times, then the RSX DOMINATES the tib, because it has a better powerband, much better suspension. it also has 5+ years (give or take a few)over the tib, of improving the integra (predecessor) to make it better thanor equal to most cars today.
One last bit of information: Hyundai makes underpowered fuel economy cars, and Acura makes, more power, sportier, fuel economy cars!
