sorry about this stupid question, but when it rains, won't the water get into your engine bay? how does this work :?:

If you have an open vent, yes.

What's it gonna hurt? As long as you aren't driving thru the Atlantic or your nearby pond, you should be fine.

hmm, i think you might have a deal but i have yet to give an answer. howabout when they arrive at the end of the month? fiberglass is very good, and light. so it would cost $625 total? if it wasn't for that trucking part i'd be totally in. what about UPS? hmm, i have to give it some thought. i'm about 70%

No problem. I can't hold it for you, but you can let me know at then.

This hood is too big for UPS nor FEDEX Ground. Either FEDEX Freight or trucking company. FEDEX Freight may cost $180~$200 send to your place.

Of your question concerns rain......yes, it will go in, but the vent section is more toward the header. I am sure you have ways to cover it to you necessities.

Picture from Random's car someone send it to me. Random, if you don't like your pix on here, let me know.

thanks 2race4real. i'll give you notice quite soon. 135 sounds a bit better now :? lol.

REDZ, the parts would rust. i'm concerned because i live in Maryland where anything f*cks up your car. mein, that's why i need a new hood lol! hurricane izabelle or whatever babysitted my hood for me...

i luv that hood though. only because it's ripped off of a lancer evo 7. and it's directly linked to your engine bay. but that's the problem with that rain. i think a scoop would be a little better wink.gif but i'll hopefully decide on something when i get my next paycheck.

thanks for the feedback guys! appreciate it. this site rocks.

Like I said before....I already placed order of the hood and expect to arrive end of the month.

I hope this is enough time to recover the funds from Fedex. They are usually really quick to resovle claim issues.

Rust? Ever wash your engine? I do. I don't have any rust down there.

Do a search at HA.com about vented hoods, we had a BIG discussion over there about it a few years back.

Yes. Don't you think so?

It will cover the product and shipping again. This time, I am making wooden crate for you to ensure to reach you in good condition as it came in.

i would so go for it but i'm saving up for a turbo for next summer... if you think about it, the hood in total would be just about half of a turbo. thanks however!
