I've had that problem before. If you have any doubt when you're painting, pull the can farther away and spray a final coat from a distance. That will ensure consistancy. Whenever you use a metalic or pearl based paint, a thick coat will turn out less metalic or pearl then a thin coat.

I just read my posts and it sounds like I'm just dissing on your car. You know I love what you've done because we pretty much have the same stuff.

That's a nice looking strut tower bar. The heat wrap is a a great performance idea. That betaII looks great on any engine. There's nothing like the feel of that NRG damper. I see that you also have a PS pulley. I have the same, but in a polished aluminum color.

What color are your HIDs?

It looks like we have the same headers, I used steel wool, scotchbrite, spray painted with 1400F, and then wrapped mine. it seemed to work well. You'll need 2 rolls of 2 inch wide wrap.

I ran a breather for a while, but the smell got to me so I removed it and went back to stock.

Not bad man, but pick a secondary color and stick with it. I love what you've done, but go get some Duplicolor Metalcast Red and do those strut bar mounts, or do them in the same smoke color you did the valve cover in. Pic a max of 3 colors, and stick with it bro, you'll love it.

I love that green, almost bought one myself but it was an automatic.

well...the blue is from previous owner that i got the strut bar from, just have not changed the mounts...

also the the valve cover (valve cover) is a flat black and clearcoat...no smoke just some left over VHT header paint i had...

also the colors are going to be the Cast Iron, Black, and Red...the red is going to be caps and stuff

Thank you...actually the only reason i got my tib is because when i went to go get a car...that is all i could afford and my wife was pissed cuz it was an Manual...I told her "well i cant drive a stick either but can learn", this was back in 2004

First of all i like the color of your car its unique and sharp. After you wrap the headers i would unwrap the cai I think its aem right? i think it will make your bay look better IMO. I plan on having almoast the same exact setup. do you like it. would you change anything? I just used VHT nightshade on my tails a week ago but i was lazy and havnt put clear coat on it yet. Last what is the breather for. I was like wtf is that little filter for lol.
