As some of you may or may not know, yamaha sold his tib last week (to me). Arrived last weekend safe and sound.
Yamaha is moving on to bigger and better things (byebye FWD..), best of luck in the future Sean. fing02.gif
^That's Larry, the truck driver. He texts and drives, tsk tsk. I almost got him with "Hey, that's not my 2010 Camaro," which he had onboard destined for Hawaii.. lol.gif
Anyways, haven't really felt obligated to tell everyone but I see the cat if definitely out of the bag. I don't feel like it's my car just yet, don't even have a title.. I've put 1 mile on it, maybe 2. I've got a lot of things I'd like to do to the car to make it more my style.
Yamaha was nice enough to include the original motor that was on the car in it's prime (in addition to the stock motor that is currently on the car). That should be arriving in 2-3 weeks (hopefully). Once it does the plan is to replace the damaged motor in my original tiburon (black 1997) and sell it. Will probably return it to stock (lots of goodies will be for sale soon) and sell locally (since this place has turned into a damn used tiburon e-lot..........)
I'll be around, updatin' ya on my progress.

Actually I'm having a hard time looking at the car spoiler-less. The back end of first generation tiburons (without a spoiler) look like the bastard child of a 90's Ford Taurus and a bar of soap.
Who knows, maybe I'll find a second gen at a junky and do the swap. wink1.gif
