Darn, early deer season. Michigan has one of the highest overpopulations of whitetail in the US, and ours isn't for quite a while after that.

I really want to come, but my expo screws things up. I could fly out a couple days early, but then I'd have to fly out about 4:30 on Saturday. I'd love to go on a drive with you guys, so maybe a shorter one will work for saturday? Flight as of now will cost me $475. Maybe next year I'll have to drive out, depending on if my expo is still running.

Count me as a maybe.

Prolly won't happen my man. With folks driving in from far away, no one would be up for a drive that late. Not to mention, half the fun is seeing everything, you can't at night.

I may have to find someone to run it for me so I can come. Wait a sec, it's the anniversary show so that wont fly either.... 02.gif</div>

Priorities mang. I do it the first weekend of the balloon fiesta because the second weekend is a bit smaller, a lot of the international teams have headed home and the like. What Expo?

I should actually be able to get the leave to be a helping hand this time. Instead of show to say what's up and then go to work.</div>

You are and will always be welcome my brother, you know that. I just know you haven't gotten to participate much lately and are trying to move elsewhere. You guys are on the list my man. Trust me, with us crewing for Big Red now, you'll LOVE it.

I don't see what you mean about a drive that late... I meant a drive BEFORE 4pm on Saturday, since I'd have to leave by 4:30pm.

That's late, for just about any of these drives.

Considering folks will have JUST driven in from Arkansas or further...

with this much advance notice a round trip ticket should be FAR less than gas costs to drive any distance greater than 3 state lines away... Hell one state away, it'd be cheaper for me to fly than drive and I'm 6 hours away!!

If you don't mind Southwest, the *Ding application is awesome (it's a download on their website, southwest.com that displays a box on your computer screen somewhere. You choose your locations/destination airports and they update you daily with cheap fares to and fro. ...in an attempt to fill their airplanes..) Downside: you have to book the cheap fare within 24 hours and no refunds, just Southwest Airlines credit if you don't wanna go through with it.

On another note, if I bring pretty girls who will buy me dinner?
