I added fuel with the Haltech and got it to idle fine. Driving around is a little rough. There is no difference in the PVC for the Beta 1 and Beta 2 is there?

Ehh, check your old PVC and see if Viper had it drilled out or not. I think he did.

Yea, you got it running, but you didn't solve the problem. There's a reason why it stopped idling.

If you're running the Haltech and don't have the IAC working, then you're probably idling off the TB screw. In that case, you're gonna have a hard time idling when the weather changes. Your AFR's are gonna keep changing too.

Check to see exactly how you're controlling the idle. Either through the Haltech w/IAC, the stock ECU w/IAC, or the TB screw.

I am pretty sure it is idling off the screw... grrr. My AFR is super rich today.

and my power steering belt keeps squeeling!

lmao.gif Welcome to the world of standalone with no AICV.

I usually have to adjust mine a little sitting in the pits everytime I go out, but nothing drastic.

This car is driving me nuts! I am once again having problems leaning out after driving it for awhile. I am thinking it has to do with the alternator not putting out enough to power the injectors. Does that sound right? Also, NOW I am having a problem with it running RICH and dying at idle! Sometimes I wonder what the heck I got myself into and if I would be better off selling this and going back to a near stock tib.... 02.gif

Can you get ahold of viper. I am haveing the same leaning out issue at idle to. I went in a bump up the fuel just a little and the 3 lower rpm points. And it helped.

I don't think adjusting the fuel is going to do anything for me. I think it has alot to do with the alternator. I have a new one , maybe I will get it installed tonight. As far as leaning out on idle, isn't there a coolant map as well as a fuel map? Maybe I need to start messing with that since it seems to lean out when the engine is hot.

My problem is fuel. I can got her to idle fine. But when I press the gas and let go she dies out =(. It is just a pain to try to adjust the fuel buy myself. BTW what you AFR at. mine is 13.5 at idea 750 rpm.
