Oh I definitely agree its all in the Tune AND the Tuner. I haven't read any reviews on what the grooves due with boost pressure. I mean how does it affect the flame propagation? Any just because you can run 15psi on stock 10.1:1 pistons does not mean you can run 8psi on 11.1:1 pistons. You are adding a full point to your static compression ratio. Its also all about the quench area and piston shape. The 1.8L piston has a much higher and different dome shape that could cause hot spots in a F/I application.

but as you said, we will see.

Not that it really matters but our comp is 10.3:1

I personally can't wait to see... I have yet to see anyone sucessful with high comp forced induction

most of the day wasted on waiting on an oil pan gasket to arive at advanced, but tonight will be a long night. post pictures later

You might want to just use RTV, I used a gasket and have had small oil leaks.

i use rtv and the gasket done it a cupple times now on different cars and i have never had a leak.





need anther cutting wheel and ill get more done tomorrow
