One would think that if one would have the money to work such a custom paint job one would also have a decent digital camera to take pictures of it.

Hootie..yeah, if they're doing intricate designs or if they only spend a few minutes a day on the prject, I can see it taking that long. But for just a regular spray, with ghost patterns, it should take no where near 6 months...let alone a year. Ah well. Maybe some people are just alot slower than I am when it comes down to painting. lol tongue.gif

My art teachers Ferarri, a 67 Spyder that he had repainted. Took 7 months. He totally restored the car and wanted the absolute best and cleanest job possible. I looked at the finished product and it was like glass. No imperfections at all. All it takes is time, money and what the customer wants.

Actually you're both right. It should have been 4-5 months if we were out there consistantly but, to be honest, we both have jobs and it just took a little longer than expected. It ended up costing us 3 1/2 g's but we brag to people that if it were done by a shop (w/ no hook ups) that it would have cost them $12,000 (it really would have).

All in all I am a personal fan of turbos simply for the expandability over SC. SC may be nice for some people. Now as for the turbo kit that Redz mentioned, that's really cool. Hey Redz, make sure and keep us posted as to how they plan on fixing the crank problem. I do like the tiburon V6's but I REALLY love my beta2 lantra.

My question is this: Would a turbo be reliable for everyday use (3-5 days a week driver)? It just seems to me that the Supercharger is alot safer for the engine in the long run. Now that I know there is a turbo(upcoming) and a SC, i will have to think about what to purchase. I can afford both but I will have to decide the horsepower/reliability/fun-to-drive factors. Also I do want sleeper'esk type noise. I don't want my car to sound like every turbo Honda or Eclipse on the road, I want it unique. If the turbo can measure up and surpass the SC in horsepower that's fine, but in reliability will it hold up? That's my question...
