New Intake Manifold
Hey nate dont call me over the holidays i see. j/k, Just happen to be browsing the forums on my only night off this week. I have been extremely busy with work, school let out about a week and a half ago so not to long. christmas and everything else you know it can be busy. anyway YES I AM RUNNING THE MANIFOLD. I did switch back to the stocker for awhile to see if there was any noticable diffrence and lord oh mighty there is a night and day diffrence. Both manifolds used a mustang 65mm throttle body but the aftermarket was built by me. The stock was just a hacked off flange with a larger flange welded on. not much noticeable diffrence there. Under 10psi I didnt notice much but once over that the aftermarket required an increasing amount of fuel to keep it from going lean and what not. Keep in mind it is port matched and runners are at about a 220 grit finish inside. I did lose some low end power under 3k but who cares the motor dosnt build power till 3500 then all hell breaks loose. Anyway Im having some issues with starters latly they keep going bad to where all they will do is grind they work for a week or so then blah. Im about ready to go buy a used oem one from a salvage yard to find out whats up. Other than that the car is ready for the dyno hope to get it there in mid january will see.
