Maf Problem
#1
hi guys, a couple days ago i raced a 90 honda civic hatchback with a tl engine on it( 3.0 v6)
after i was done racing car start with the problem at idle at this part i know that my idle air control is bad.
the day after this happen i started to check the car and i saw that my feed line of gasoline was leaking.
i fixed that and as soon i fixed the car idled good for like 10 mins . after i took it to put some gas on it it start to give problems ( run rich). when i got to the gas station the car stalls and dont want to run right.
so i disconnected the maf sensor and the car start to run "better".
right now i am running the car with no maf connected.
if i connect the maf sensor the car starts to run rich like i cant move the car.
does this mean i need a new maf?
btw i am turbocharged. was running 10 psi before this happen.

The reason tanc asked is because he had a hunch you were street racing, and since you are new were going to assume your friend owns a abandoned airport and you raced on that.
and btw since your turboed with the MAF sensor on the inlet side you should know that if your car starts running like hell after you boost its most likely a blown coupler or a hole of some other sort giving the car a really really crappy reading
since you found the problem and i dont want any more talk about the race you had, im closing this. glad your car works better
