same here... but then if you'd get a turbo kit, you would have to get your tranny upgraded. you don't want to have a boosted engine and blow your gears. ...add that to the $5,000.

Keep in mind too that Tim's Speed-Factor kit is all brand new stuff. I acknowledge that Dweet is going with the junkyard turbo, (No offense Dweet) and that's cool. New, Quality products cost money. Dweet knows his stuff so if something breaks he'll be able to fix it.

Look around maybe you can get a used standalone off Ebay, and maybe some other miscellaneous parts. I suggest to get the actual Turbo parts brand new. Less can go wrong.

the only used part im using a the turbo and BOV, and BOV's rarely break. the turbo has no shaft play and was pulled from a car that ran perfectly except the tranny went bad and the guy decided to part the car out rather than fix the tranny. if you want a new DSM turbo you can get a 16g for like $350 so just add $200 to my list.... you just have to know where to get the stuff from and shop smart... shop S-Mart

Yeah oops.gif you're right, I thought you were using your old IC too? Anyway, take Dweet's advice, or grab everything at once. Kinda depends on how much work you want to put into it. I suggest Dweet's way myself.
