My Turbo Feedback....
yeah... me too...... Any Idea wehre could be the leak???
A friend told me that I can spray water with soup and see if any bubbles when boosting.... is that a good idea???
The bracket that I use, is attached to a bracket in the same block, were is the OEM exhaust attached. The bracket suppor the lower part of the turbo..... But could be very nice to see yours..... Maybe I need to improve it....

Ok.. Last Saturday I went to the mechanic to fix my turbo... my surprise was that it was perfectly good.... not a problem inside the turbo... the problem was the wastegate... it was tightened very weak by me... owned.gif
Ok... the mechanic adjust the turbo to 8PSI and I use a manual boost controller... and guess what was my surprise.... 17PSI!!!! I really got scared because don't have forged rods... and 15 PSI was my goal.... (before buying the rods)
Now.... Beside my Garrett T3 .48/ A.R.60 60Trim (I think that is not a Super 60), I just have my 42pounds injectors... BOX FPR 1:1.... and... STOCK FUEL PUMP!!....
now I'm really confuse..... why my fuel pump handeled that kind of boost??? O I just lucky??

did you have a wideband at the time? what was your afr? maybe you were running lean, since you already have lo-comp pistons, it was handled ok, thats all, i guess

How do you know it handled 17psi? Maybe you were very lean! Gotta be careful man!
Ok... I just came back from an old airport.... It is used to do drag race....
I just hit the 17 18PSI.... the Rich/Lean between stoich and 2 leads rich.....
I run with a Tib partner... he has a 2.7 Tuscani Superchager... best E/T 14.03, As I remember... 285HP on DYNO.... I just won....
I saw with my rear mirror black smoke from behind.... so I confirm (visually and electronically) that I was runing rich.....
Know.... I will get to the real world.... this thursday, the gas will go up to US$4.00 per gallon.... so I will take out my boost controller and run with 8 PSI....
Know.... what about the RODS... how many HP can it handle???? or how many boost???
