at bare minimum you should at least get a crappy apex-i safc, they might be old and out of style but you could get one for like $100 and they do the trick



on a side note. i have a buddy down here with a 98' tiburon stock engine and stock ecu running 14 psi out of a .70/.63 ebay turbo with 630cc denso injectors a malpassi fpr and apex-i safc. yes you heard right stock ecu and the car runs great daily driver, we actually went for a ride a couple hours ago and its still running like a champ. pulls real nice. the only obd code it throws is for the upstream oxygen sensor because its not even connected, this was done on purpose so that the apex-i could be used

 

didnt the PR tibs get map sensors though...

 

nope, 100% MAF sensor on board.
